Friday, March 3 - Vero Beach
We are at Loggerhead Marina at Grand Harbor in Vero
Beach. This is a very large planned
community, very upscale. It looked much
better in the daylight than it did last night!
We checked in, then biked to McDonald's for
breakfast. It's almost 2 miles, and the
only things there are Publix, CVS, Walgreens, and a Shell station. Other restaurants are 4 miles away, too long
of a ride for us.
Danny spent some time working on his "new"
bike. He took the rusty fenders off,
doesn't it look much better?
And he put baskets on both of our bikes. He found them at Tuesday Morning when he and
Robert went shopping. Surprised?! At his shopping, not at the baskets.
I spent most of the day doing laundry. Not such a bad chore when the view outside
the door looks like this!
The wind continued to whip all day. There are small craft advisories out, so we may be here a few days.
