Saturday, October 7 - Three Hour Cruise
What a cloudy,
yucky day! The clouds were pretty, though, and I loved the little
triangle of blue sky that showed through.
It rained most of
the morning so I didn’t get any good pictures. This is a remnant of a
railway bridge that was used prior to flooding the area to make the lake.
It’s sad that so much had to be destroyed.
Enough rainy
weather. We pulled into Pebble Isle Marina in New Johnsonville, TN around
11:00, a three hour day. (Wasn’t that the time on Gilligan’s
Island?) Thank goodness they had the channel marked well. The low
water level made it tricky.
Pebble Isle is a
family owned marina and we were very pleased with our choice. There were
several Looper boats, but the weather was too yucky for much socializing.
More sunset
pictures, of course.
