Day #4 - Boat Show
It was time for a
pump-out, but since they had to order a cable for our transmission, we can’t
drive to the pump-out station. Tony said no problem, they would bring the
pump-out boat to us. It came, but it wouldn’t work. Here comes the
work boat again to push us over to the gas dock. Tony impressed us with
his “driving” skills. His driving station is at water level directly
behind our boat and he can’t see around us. Add to that a brisk wind and
you have a challenge - he managed it masterfully.
There were some
great boats. Our favorite was a little 15 1/2 foot ChrisCraft named
“Junior” built in 1927.
Everything on this
boat is original - upholstery, canvas covers, everything. And it looked
good.
Here are some other
entries that we lied.
