Thursday, April 6 - Last day in St.
Augustine?
Emory sent me this
picture of my new grand-niece Margaret Ivey. Isn't she adorable?! I
can't wait to see her!
Danny needed two
more things from West Marine, and you never know when you will dock close to
one, so we biked down there again! A Sonny's BBQ is right down the
street, so we ate lunch there, stopped in a little beauty shop to get my hair
cut (it's really short, much shorter than Danny's), picked up cereal and stir
fry vegetables for dinner and headed back. This is such a great town for
biking, there is so much to look at, and as I have said before, it's flat!
Peter, the marina
owner, called mid-afternoon to tell us they were finished! The weather
forecast says windy tomorrow, but unless it's hurricane force, we are heading
out! We spent the afternoon paying the bill and finishing the Eisenglass.
We had a
visit from Debbie and Gil, friends we met at the Great Loop Rendezvous.
We have been at the same "rookie" table during one session. It
was great to see them, and to meet their grandson who is cruising with them.
