Monday, June 12 - Shady Harbor
Directly across the
river from the marina was an old monastery. The guy at the marina said it
is now owned by a German group. It is an imposing structure!
We passed several
lighthouses. They were all so cute, but looked small compared to the ones
on the coast.

We passed through
Catskill, NY with lots of grain elevators.
Our destination for
the night was Shady Harbor Marina in New Baltimore, NY, There were 12
other Looper boats here, and we had a great time catching up and meeting some
new friends.
We did NOT off-load the bikes. Can you see
what why? Remember, I do not do "up" on bikes, and this is
definitely an "up."
We had a Looper dinner at the marina
restaurant. Great fun.
