Sunday, February 12 - Cruising the Inside Route

Sunday, February 12 -  Cruising the Inside Route

Dolphins again!  You have to look very carefully, but they are there.  They were jumping so high in the air, like they were playing. I think dolphins are my cousins!

Just nature viewing today, we stayed out all day.  I did take a picture of boat wakes because they fascinated me - the bubbles stay for such a long time, you can actually see a trail in the water.

We have seen birds perched on every post and channel marker we pass, but these were on what looked like reflectors.  Just out in the middle of the water.

Speaking of "out in the middle of the water," look at this sandbar filled with birds.

Late in the afternoon, our route brought us back closer to land.

We stopped for the night at the southern end of Key Largo.

There weren't enough clouds for a spectacular sunset, but the moon was gorgeous!
