Tuesday, March 28 - Linda and Henry Visit
We were delighted
to get a message from our wonderful friends Linda and Henry on Sunday that they
would like to come down from Monroe, GA for a visit! Their schedule is
always packed, so were delighted that our lay-over and their calendar meshed.
They arrived late afternoon, and if you believe Danny, Linda and I started
talking then and did not stop the entire time they were here! They had
booked a room for us at their motel saying we needed a boat break. I will
admit, it was wonderful to have big, fluffy towels and unlimited hot
water. We had our social hour at the motel, Linda had brought lots of
snacks, then went to Harry's Grille for dinner. We had eaten lunch here
earlier in our stay, but the place was even more charming at night with all the
lighted trees.
We ended the
evening with another social hour in the room. We had lots to catch up
on!
